According to the prosecutor Frank Hoffmann shot two police men on a demonstration against Runway-West (Airport Frankfurt), on November 2, 1987. 
The movie doesn't look at the crime, but at the developments that culminated in this murder.
The story of Frank Hoffmann's life and of the anti-runway movement just suits as a guideline for this.

Coal in the Small of the Back

The film observes three coal-heavers at work upstairs, downstairs again and again 75 kilos on their back. 
It is heavy physical work, but executed with speed, great concentration and intuition.

Like generations did before Berlin - fishermen set off for the Wannsee fishing grounds.

A Lifelong Love

It began when my boyfriend asked me to marry him.  A lifetime together, although we still disagree over old matters after having already lived 3 years with each other?  I therefore asked couples who have been married 40 years or longer, how they managed it.  Without their sincerity and openess, this film would not have been possible.

Nothing at all for children

Seven young adults courageously and honestly tell about the life with their alcoholic parents, how they are forced to grow up at an early age, their experiences of fear and disappointment.  The childhood has been stolen from them, but hopes and dreams for a future life remain.
